Account Managers will be required to complete the following Responsibilities within their role. These are subject to the evolving needs of the business.
Deal Management:
- Monitor and update JIRA (or other agreed upon delivery management tool) for ongoing deals, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is provided to the product and sales teams.
- Review the status of ongoing deals and set priorities based on client and company objectives.
- Conduct relationship mapping within deals to ensure key decision makers are engaged throughout the delivery process, facilitating full adoption.
- Quality assurance checks for software and service excellence during the sales cycle and post-sale delivery stage will be performed to ensure that a successful and polished product is presented to the customer.
- Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews with customers to showcase value creation / benefit realization
Client Communication:
- Respond promptly to client requests, demonstrating a high level of responsiveness.
- Proactively engage with clients to address any ad hoc requests or inquiries, maintaining a high level of client satisfaction.
Client Meetings/Calls:
- Schedule and coordinate client meetings or calls.
- Lead client calls, focusing on addressing their specific needs, answering questions, and providing insight into product updates.
- Prepare and send pre-meeting emails for scheduled calls, setting clear agendas and expectations.
- Send out post-meeting emails summarizing discussions and outlining next steps, ensuring clarity and accountability.
Internal Team Collaboration:
- Account Managers will be expected to work closely with sales account executives and the product and technology team.
- Sales will define what the customer needs, their expectations and commercial agreement details.
- Product and technology will define the product features and development timeline of both the core product and any onboarding / integration timelines for the customer.
- The account manager will be responsible for onboarding, training and supporting delivery of the customer’s needs. The account manager plays an integral role in between sales and product/technology.
